Richard Avedon, and early 80's glam were the inspiration behind Sundsbo’s Vogue story. The "big" hair and sultry make-up totally remind me of the 80's. Also, if you weren't aware, Avedon was the man! His career started at Harper's Bazaar, where he remained until 1966. Following HB, Avedon became the lead photographer of Vogue and photographed most of the covers from 1973 until Anna Wintour became editor in chief in late 1988. Notable among his fashion advertisement photograph series are the recurring assignments for Gianni Versace.
