Lisa Mayock and Sophie Buhai are originally from Los Angeles and South Pasadena, respectively. They moved to NY in 1999 to attend Parsons School of Design. In 2003, three weeks after graduation the pair began making their first Vena Cava collection on their livingroom floor. They currently work out of their studio in Brookly, Ny.
